In 1993, they constructed a Professional Building in the Town of O’Leary called Oulton Business Centre. Dewar and Esther were both licensed Realtors for over 20 years, and operated a Real Estate office at Oulton Business Centre. They leased other parts of the building to various professionals.

In 1997, they bought a property situated in a rural setting, but still within the boundaries of the Town of O’Leary. This property consisted of five acres with a flourishing apple orchard on the property. They named this property Orchard Ridge Estates and constructed their first multi-unit apartment building in 1998. They continued building apartment rentals and have multiple units on this property. All units are quality constructed, ground floor, Country Colonial in design situated on perfectly manicured grounds. Features also include covered verandah’s, dormers, cupolas, individual garden plots if required and private decks.

After this development was completed, they purchased the neighboring property which they named Silver Fox Crossing. This growing community consists of another 5 acres. This property has multiple garden apartments with attached garages, with room for future expansion.

The Oulton’s have recently sold their Commercial Building and are actively involved in Residential Rentals.

Oulton Apartments are family owned and operated. The Oulton’s and their family work to ensure the guiding principles that built the foundation of Oulton Apartments continue to live on in the future.
